Tim linden of StartXchange just posted an interesting review of the infamous “Traffic Hoopla” downline builder.  If you hadn’t heard, Tim’s hit exchange was removed from their ranking system awhile back.   They claimed Tim was “cheating” their system.  This was a “red flag” to me as I’ve never known Mr. Linden to be “shady” in any way, shape, or form.  Finally, Tim has gone public with his side of the story in this article.

The validity of Traffic Hoopla’s Ranking system has always been a subject of much debate.  When a certain exchange dropped drastically in their rankings in a matter of only 7 days, “coincidentally” following a dispute with the owner of said exchange, many had a hard time believing that the drop in rank was based purely on stats.

Okay, I have to admit, I never gave Hit2Hit a second look until the addition of the co-op rotator.  Y’know the one, where upgraded members get their site shown in a rotator that appears on some 30 other exchanges? Yeah that sucked me in right away.  Branding like that from the cheapie upgrade? Yep. I’m in.  And apparently I wasn’t alone.  Owner Franscisca  Kruissink recently celebrated her milestone 25,000th member and  the numbers are growing fast.

So what does this mean for us?  The fast growing membership means  a steady flow of fresh eyes on member pages to be sure.  Fresh eyes = Fresh prospects to potentially feed into your list.  Grab an upgrade, assign credits to your site, and BAM! You’re being seen on 30+ TEs. (so long as you have credits assigned.) That’s 2 really good reasons to add Hit2Hit to your surfing schedule.  I didn’t even mention the cash referral contests. Doh! Just did, didn’t I…

  In my e-mail series, I stress the fact that in order to succeed, you must do what failures refuse to do.  If there’s one phrase I hear failed marketers say more often than any other it’s usually something like that headline.  “This program doesn’t work”, “That site is a scam” and the list goes on.  Just this morning I heard a gentleman comment, “I’m not sure if I want to invest in that when I don’t even know if it will work.”

Here’s the bottom line.  No program,  no “proven marketing system”, is going to work until YOU do.  Until you make a conscious decision to apply the necessary techniques,  nothing is going to “work” for you.  You may have to ask a lot of questions, but you better believe anyone who is successful online had their share of questions in the beginning.

If you aren’t making any money online yet, why not give this a try. Send an e-mail to the support team or owner of your primary affiliate program and ask them how you might improve your results.  Assuming you’ve already read and implemented any techniques recommended on their site,  If they aren’t willing to help, it’s a good sign you may need to look for another program.

I’m confident that anyone with a strong desire for success can achieve it, but you must adopt a “refuse to fail” mentality.  You see, you only become a failure when you make a decision to quit trying.  When you quit trying, you’ve essentially chosen to fail, and at that point there’s only one person to blame.

In short…  seek the knowledge, apply the knowledge, and persevere.
